His work speaks for itself. He leaves behind so many iconic characters, he'll not be forgotten.

Friend and collaborator James Cameron's Terminator. The breakout hit for both.

Predator (1987)

The Monster Squad (1987)

His updates of the classic Universal creatures made this geek a fan of Wolfman, Dracula, Gillman and The Mummy.

Of course his collaborations with James Cameron continued in the popular sequel to Ridley Scott's "Alien."

A long forgotten movie about Robots that find love. Way ahead of it's time, Stan made brilliant likenesses of actors Benedette Peters and Andy Kaufman.

Tim Burton's best film was made only better by Stan's unique touch.

No matter how bad the end result ended up, Stan's talent shined through.

The digital age was born with Spielberg's Dino romp. Stan's wonderful designs brought the critters to life in 1993's "Jurassic Park."

Leave the flowery ulogies to those that knew him.

All I can say is thanks, Stan!
