Sites all over the net are crackling like Indy's whip with the double-whammy of the relase of the beautiful teaser poster provided by the official site and with tidbits of the main story from USA Today.

The film takes place, 19 years later in 1957, at the height of the Cold War. His quiet life is disrupted taking him to New Mexico, Connecticut, Mexico City and the jungles of Peru on a quest for South American relics with supernatural powers.

Taking plenty of old man jokes, he also takes the punches and hanging from dangerous cliffs and ledges. In the process, he's fighting Cold War baddies, The Russians the quickly becomes a race against time to find the legendary Crystal Skull, (a strange power source that is not yet known) before the Russkies do.

Co-starring Cate Blanchett as the seductive Agent Spalko and Ray Winstone as an unethical archaeologist.
